The product key is provided in the package of Windows Software purchased by a customer. At present, the Windows 10 and 8.1 both versions are available in the market and even can be purchases online directly from the website of the Microsoft company.

The customers who received the copy of Microsoft Windows through a University, are required to get the product key of Windows from the “Academic Products” section of the website of Microsoft Company.

Difference between 32-Bit and 64-Bit Versions:

The Central Processing Unit (CPU) of a computer system manages information stored in the system as per the capacity of Random Access Memory (RAM). Provided RAM is same, if a computer system has 64-bit Version of Windows, it can easily manage the large amount of information than a system with 32-bit version of Windows.
